The bridge over the Canal des Mines de Moselle does not go straight. It passes from one side to the other, meandering after having skirted the canal on one side then the other.
It is indeed a metal suspension bridge. The red color of the structure contrasts sharply with the surrounding landscape.
Nicely planted, one could almost say wooded, the banks rise in embankments to allow the bridge to cross the canal and the boats to navigate below.
It is also in this context that while crossing the canal, the bridge began to dance. Its overstretched arch structure tilts first towards the vehicle side and then towards the pedestrian and cyclist side.
The arch from which the double bridge is suspended is completed by a system of asymmetrical railings on either side.
